The Creative Design Academy, coaching centre that has successfully mentored aspiring designers for over 8 years with a history of phenomenal growth and success. Our greatest achievement is helping 500+ students secure seats in India's premiere design institutions, that is, NID, NIFT, IIT, NATA and FDDI. What sets us apart is our deeply unique training methodology, which goes beyond conventional teaching to focus on unlocking individual creative potential. We do not just run an academy, we operate like a tight-knit family, the TCDA family, offering personalized mentorship, support, and an environment where students feel nurtured and empowered to turn their creative dreams into professional realities.
Our Story
Our journey began not as educators, but as typical parents. Founders Muralidharan and Radha initially harboured the common aspiration for their children to pursue conventional careers in medicine or engineering. However, their daughter, Nithyakalyani, a profoundly creative spirit, insisted on forging a different path by turning her passion into a career. This pivotal moment led Muralidharan on an extensive research mission into creative fields along with his prior experience in textile industry let to discovering a hidden plethora of design courses at a time when awareness in South India was virtually non-existent.
He personally dedicated himself to training Nithyakalyani for the demanding design entrance exams, ensuring she achieved her dream. This success paved the way for their creatively inclined son, Nithish Bharathwaj, to also build a career in design. What started as Muralidharan informally training Nithya’s friends soon grew organically into The Creative Design Academy. From its humble beginning with just 8 to 10 students, the academy has flourished and has now successfully mentored over 800+ students in our dedicated centre as of today.
