National Aptitude Test in Architecture

About NATA (B.Arch)

NATA is a national-level entrance exam for admission to the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) course. It is designed to assess a candidate's aptitude for the field of architecture.

Conducted By: Council of Architecture (CoA).

Sir J.J. College of Architecture - Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Faculty of Architecture & Ekistics, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) - New Delhi.

Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA) - Chandigarh.

MSU Baroda - Faculty of Architecture - Vadodara, Gujarat.

Eligibility criteria

Must have passed or appearing in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (or) 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics.

In Your Qualifying Exam (10+2 or Diploma): You must secure at least 45% marks.

Exam pattern - B.Arch

Marks: 200

Total Duration: 3 hours

PART A - Drawing - No. of Questions: 3

  • Duration: 90 minutes 

  • Mode: Offline

  • Marks: 80

PART B - Aptitude (MCQ) - No. of Questions: 45

  • Duration: 90 minutes 

  • Mode: Online

  • Marks: 120

Attempts: Candidates can appear for up to 3 attempts in one academic year, and the best score is considered for admission.
